Drink wine for thy body becomes atoms in the earth,
Thine earth after that becomes goblets and jars
Be thou heedless of hell and heaven
Why should a wise man be deceived about such things.
Drink wine, for in dust when thy body shall dust be,
Of thy clay made shall winepots and jars to hold must be;
Neither reek thou of Heaven nor Hell: why deluded
In a life such as this should the wise and the just be?
