With that wine which is the spirit of another life
Fill the cup—what matters a headache to you
Give it full into my hand for the affairs of the world are dark
Hasten O boy, for your life passes away.
Payne 1898 - 52
Fill up of that wine which new life to the old is,
Though thy head ache; I pine till the cup in my hold is.
Quick! the need of the world as a tale that is told is
And life on the lapse with the wind on the wold is.
Thompson 1906 - 713
Though thy head ache, the cup fill of that wine
Which still another life doth add to thine,
Give it to me ! But tales are earth's affairs!
Haste now ! for passing is this life of mine!
