Those who grow older & those who are destroyed
Every one (of them) who by his own tendency becomes destroyed, one by one,
The pastime of this world remains eternal for no one
We have come & they are gone, & again they come and go.

Payne 1898 - 407
Those things which old are become and those which are new,
Each in its turn its own goal tendeth unto:
This worthless world with none for ever abideth;
lts things depart and others in turn ensue.

Thompson 1906 - 770
Those ancient things and those things that are new
Each one by one its end attains unto,
For this base world abides with none for aye,
They pass and others come and follow, too.
