Do not suffer so much sorrow for the world from the friend ?
Do not continually suffer sorrows of this world
Since being is past, not being you have not seen
Be happy & do not suffer sorrow of my existence & non existence.

Payne 1898 - 444
O friend, the chagrin of this world, the obscene, eat thou not;
This worn-out old world's unavailing chagrin eat thou not:
When existence is past, non-existence existent is not:
Bide blithe; the chagrin of yon world the unbeen eat thou not.

Thompson 1906 - 790
O, friend ! In this vain life be not forlorn,
Nor bootless, worry in this world outworn!
When Life is past, Non-Being disappears,
Take heart ! Nor fret about that world unborn!
