Calcutta nr. 278

O man of wisdom arise thou at dawn
And say to that clay-headed boy arise
Then tell him “do not stand up carelessly
(For you stand upon) the brain of Kaikobad & the blood of Parviz

Payne 1898 - 471
Up, man of sense and wit. thou keen of sight and wise,
Say to yon child of clay: "Unhappy one, arise!
Lo, of thy heedlessness, thou tramplest under foot
The brain of Kei-Kobad and Khosrou Perwiz' eyes!"

Thompson 1906 - 498
Awake, O man of virtue strong and wise!
Say to yon child of crumbling clay, “Arise!"
Then "Heedless, you are trampling under foot
The brain of Kai Kobad, and Perwiz' eyes!"
