Calcutta nr. 295

Do not make your cheeks yellow for what has not yet happened
And for what has happened do not turn your bile into water
Lift from this house of destruction your own portion
Ere the world shall pour out its own poison (for thee)

Payne 1898 - 496
No care for the coming time make pale the cheek of thee!
Nor thought of the past the gall make water-weak of thee!
Thy portion of this base world I rede thee take in haste,
Or ever unsparing Time its mischief wreak of thee.

Thompson 1906 - 703
Let not things still to come blanch your cheeks' hue,
Nor present things your breast with fear imbue;
And reap your harvest in this wicked world
Ere Fortune's favors are withdrawn from you.
