THE QUATRAINS OF ABOLFAT'H GHIA'TH-E-DIN EBRAHIM KHAYAM OF NISHABUR. Tehran, Elmi, 1963.
There are 60 quatrains in English, French, German, Russian, Persian, Urdu, Arabic and Ottoman Turkish, selected by M. Ramazani. The edition is illustrated by Tajvidi , with a “Publishers’ foreward” [sic] by Ali Akbar Elmi, Edward FitzGerald’s introduction, a French “Préface” by Ali Nô-Rouze, and introductions in German and in Russian, both anonymous.

The English quatrains are taken from Edward FitzGerald’s first edition, but their sequence is arbitrary.

Two quatrains are selected from J.B. Nicolas’ edition of 1867; four quatrains are selected from Franz Toussaint’s translation of 1924, and 54 quatrains are by A. E’tessam-Zadeh. Of these we find 53 quatrains in his edition of 1931 and one, number 50 (F 4), appeared earlier in the polyglot edition by Tahrir-Iran of 1955. One quatrain appears twice, number 16-29.
