In this edition we find 100 quatrains in English, French, Persian and Arabic. The Persian and Arabic texts alternate after every page amidst the English and French quatrains.

There are 83 quatrains from E’tessam-Zadeh’s translation of 1931. In the Prologue the editor H.A.N. Esfandiary writes that a number of quatrains (the remaining 17, JC) for this edition were translated by E’tessam-Zadeh on the editor’s request. Quatrain number 66 appeared earlier in the Tahrir-Iran edition of 1955. The seventeen quatrains are the numbers
